This Managing Director role is pivotal in the successful delivery of complex regulatory and cross-business transformational initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the execution of strategic finance transformation, guiding the review and re-planning efforts, and ensuring the delivery of action plans. A key aspect of the role is to identify opportunities for efficiency and to have the authority to make independent decisions that have a critical impact on the function. The role demands a strategic vision, the ability to think beyond existing solutions, and a strong background in financial services, particularly in a GSIB environment. Applicants must have a minimum of 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a preference for those with large firm management consulting experience. A history of leading large, complex, cross-functional programs at a global bank is essential, as is a deep understanding of financial reporting, accounting, US GAAP, and regulatory reporting requirements. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to influence a wide range of audiences, and a proven track record in delivering large, complex bodies of work. The ideal candidate will have a background in a financial services finance function, knowledge of the risk management lifecycle, and expertise in program management. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree being preferred, and significant managerial experience.
