The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team that supports a large and diverse colleague base. This role is pivotal in developing and executing HR strategies that align with the business's current and future direction. The Executive Director will be a key partner to the Retail and Pharmacy Divisional Operations Leaders, challenging and influencing business decisions, and driving talent development and engagement strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, and have a proven track record in strategic HR, with at least 10 years of experience and a minimum of 3 years in HR leadership. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include driving change management, championing a culture of diversity and inclusion, and ensuring the effective use of HR tools and resources. The role requires a candidate with critical thinking skills, the ability to build and manage relationships at all levels, and experience in a unionized environment. The Executive Director will also be expected to uphold the company's values and culture, and to work closely with business leaders to address HR issues and opportunities. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for an advanced degree, and the candidate must be SHRM certified. The position demands a high level of travel within the Mountain West region and the ability to influence and drive action in a dynamic business environment.
