The successful candidate will be responsible for the continuous improvement and day-to-day operations of these departments, ensuring the optimization of patient outcomes, care plan development, and alignment with best practices and regulatory requirements. This role demands a collaborative leader who can energize teams, drive key initiatives, and guarantee the delivery of evidence-based care through effective communication and collaboration with staff, physicians, and executive leadership. Applicants for the AVP of Care Coordination position at the company should be passionate leaders with a high level of urgency and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of care. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, with a master's degree strongly preferred, and an active RN license. A minimum of 5 years' clinical experience in an acute care setting and 5 years' progressive leadership experience in case management and/or utilization review are required. Expertise in accreditation and regulatory guidelines, as well as experience in data analysis and action plan implementation, are essential. The role also calls for a leader with a robust background in Utilization Management, Physician Advisors, and Case Management, who can demonstrate strategic thinking and a desire to implement best practices throughout the organization.
