This role is pivotal in ensuring the consolidation of quality control and food safety under a single leadership structure, with a focus on streamlined oversight across domestic manufacturing sites and Central American operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for quality assurance and control processes, food safety program management, supplier and ingredient sourcing, operational leadership, training, audits, regulatory compliance, continuous improvement, and policy and procedure development. Applicants for the Vice President of Quality position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a related field and a Bachelor's degree. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in quality, supplier quality, and food safety programs, including HACCP, SQF, and GFSI. The VP of Quality will be expected to have a proven track record in managing and leading teams, as well as in developing and implementing quality and food safety policies and procedures. Key skills for this role include the ability to perform non-conformance reviews, support the customer complaint process, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The candidate should also be adept at collaborating with regulatory teams, participating in audits, and ensuring the effectiveness of quality and food safety programs.
