The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the in vitro ADME and pharmacokinetic functions, overseeing a team of approximately 20 scientists, and ensuring the quality and timely delivery of studies that evaluate the pharmacokinetics, drug metabolism, and drug-drug interaction potential of development and discovery-stage drugs. This role involves setting and achieving performance and financial goals, staying current with scientific and regulatory developments, and actively engaging with customers to provide scientific input and design studies that meet their needs. Applicants must have a PhD in chemistry, biology, or a related field, with more than 10 years of experience in the biotech, pharma, or preclinical CRO industry. A strong background in in vitro DMPK, drug transporters, enzyme kinetics, and pharmacokinetics is essential, as is familiarity with bioanalysis using LC/MS/MS. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership in DMPK and be adept at leading a scientific team. Responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with SOPs, DMPK guidelines, and study protocols, as well as providing guidance in data interpretation and study conclusions.
