The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging the college community to build a welcoming and inclusive culture, designing training on various topics related to equity and inclusion, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws. This role involves providing administrative oversight of the Social Justice and Equity Center, managing a departmental budget, and working with key stakeholders to address equity gaps in enrollment, retention, and completion. The Executive Director will also be involved in shaping the college's strategic plan to integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion into the fabric of the institution. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a Master's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for advanced coursework in education or administration. A minimum of 5 years' administrative experience in higher education, including at least 2 years in diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, is required. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills, as well as a strong passion for equity, diversity, and inclusion work in an educational setting. Experience in budget management, data analysis, and the ability to build collaborative partnerships with a wide range of organizations is essential.
