The successful candidate will be responsible for the identification and selection of suppliers, negotiation of long-term agreements, and continuous improvement of the supply base. This role requires the development and enhancement of internal procurement processes, ensuring continuity of supply, driving material cost reduction, and partnering with operations to optimize material availability and working capital. The VP of Procurement will also be tasked with managing a team of procurement managers, including staff hiring, performance, development, and training. Applicants for the VP of Procurement position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, with a Master's degree and APICS certification preferred. A minimum of 10 years' experience in procurement within a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a team leadership role, is required. The ideal candidate will be a self-led strategic leader capable of driving processes in a multi-site matrix environment. Key qualifications include a proven track record in supplier management, cost reduction, and process improvement, as well as the ability to ensure the team's competencies align with business goals.
