The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of complex transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and equity investments. This hands-on role requires the ability to partner with the company's strategy and development teams, as well as local operating companies, to evaluate, negotiate, and execute strategic transactions. The Senior Counsel will also serve as a legal advisor on a variety of M&A matters, help stakeholders progress through due diligence and regulatory review, and collaborate across functions to achieve transactional objectives. Applicants must have a Juris Doctorate degree, a license to practice law, and at least 3 years of hands-on transactional experience. The role demands a professional with a strong background in negotiating and advising on high-value matters, and experience in real estate transactions is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to understanding the company's industry and strategic objectives, the ability to balance business objectives and risks, and a proven track record of making sound, strategic decisions.
