The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and executing a targeted sales plan to increase market share and brand awareness. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing producers, conducting product and sales training, and strategically managing the deployment of resources within the territory. The RVP is expected to have a deep understanding of the retirement products, marketing, and sales processes, and to ensure compliance with all relevant policies and regulations. The position requires a high level of professional conduct, with a focus on meeting sales goals and growing the territory through new producer relationships. Applicants for the Regional Vice President position at the company should be college graduates with a degree in a related field or equivalent experience, and have at least 5 years of prior wholesaling experience in the bank and/or wirehouse distribution channels. A strong background in sales, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment are essential. The role demands a candidate with a proven track record in growing a region, strong territory management experience, and the ability to balance multiple priorities. The RVP will be expected to have or develop a strong understanding of key retirement products and must be licensed with FINRA 6 or 7, 63, and Life and Health. The position requires extensive travel (75%) within the territory and the candidate must reside within the assigned territory.
