The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Credit and Special Underwriting team and the Acquisition and Land Valuation team. This role involves overseeing the review and feedback process for projects receiving city capital loans and discretionary tax exemptions, as well as conducting complex financial analyses to support policy initiatives. The Chief Credit Officer will also serve as the senior advisor on real estate finance matters, collaborate on policy and strategic operations, and represent the company in external funding consortiums and inter-agency credit committees. Applicants must have a baccalaureate degree and a minimum of 4 years experience in relevant fields, with a strong preference for those holding a graduate degree. The role requires a very strong understanding of real estate finance, underwriting, lending, and development, particularly in the context of the residential housing market. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of local, state, and federal affordable housing finance programs, and be fluent in financial modeling.
