This senior executive will be responsible for the oversight and management of the organization's financial operations and strategies, ensuring financial health, stability, and growth. The VP Finance will work closely with the EVP/CFO, serve as the Acting CFO when necessary, and engage in various projects and problem-solving. A key aspect of the role is to be a mentor to existing staff, foster a culture of embracing technology, and be a business partner to the management team and affiliates. Candidates for the VP Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a CPA and/or Master's degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years' progressive leadership experience, particularly in a human services or healthcare industry, is required. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working collaboratively, managing staff, and providing value-added support to internal and external clients. Essential skills include the ability to provide objective solutions, excellent communication, and the capacity to implement change effectively. Experience with board management, treasury management, and advanced technical skills in accounting systems are also necessary.
