The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and directing park-wide work plans for all facility operations, ensuring that all park facilities are maintained in optimal working order, safe, and compliant with codes. This role involves overseeing a comprehensive preventive maintenance program, managing a cloud-based CMMS asset management system, and participating in the development and administration of facilities budgets. The Executive Director will also be a key leader in supporting park-wide sustainability goals, developing RFPs and contracts for facility-related services, and ensuring compliance with historic preservation. Applicants for the Executive Director position must have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field, and at least 8 years of management experience in facilities services, construction, administration, or a related area. The role requires expert knowledge of facility management principles, practical experience with accounting and finance regulations, and a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of interacting with public agencies, code authorities, and a demonstrated ability to lead a team in a union environment.
