The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, sourcing, and maintaining a high-quality portfolio of alternative investments, including hedge funds, credit, and other absolute return-oriented assets. This senior-level position requires extensive experience in underwriting a variety of investment strategies, such as systematic, macro, relative value, and lending. The role involves not only the management of the investment portfolio but also the cultivation of strong relationships with investment managers, rigorous due diligence, and a commitment to a culture of excellence and high integrity. The Managing Director will also be expected to contribute to team efforts in asset allocation, performance analysis, and portfolio construction, and to act as a thought leader in identifying and monitoring market trends and economic conditions. Candidates for the Managing Director position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree, with a preference for a Master's degree in business administration and/or a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. A minimum of 10 years of relevant investment experience is required, with a background in endowment, corporate or public plan sponsor, family office, or asset management firm.
