The successful candidate will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for defining the commercial strategy and new product plans for the entire R&D pipeline. This role demands a deep understanding of pharmaceutical product development, the ability to drive product strategy through commercial analysis and market insights, and a proactive, strategic approach to the commercialization of novel therapeutics. The VP will work closely with R&D functions, executive leadership, and external partners to ensure that the company's patient-centric commercial goals are met. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a science-related field, with an advanced degree preferred, and at least 15 years of relevant experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical companies, including a minimum of 12 years in marketing, commercial strategy, and/or new product planning. Experience in rare diseases and endocrinology indications is strongly preferred. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in early and late-stage product development, market research, and a deep understanding of the US payer environment. The ideal candidate will be a highly collaborative individual with outstanding relationship and communication skills, capable of inspiring and influencing diverse teams. Responsibilities include developing and executing global commercial product strategies, leading commercial initiatives, conducting market research, and establishing relationships with key opinion leaders and patient advocacy organizations.
