The successful candidate will be responsible for acting as a liaison between the institution, the business community, and government agencies to develop strategic partnerships that position the company as a key driver of economic development. This role involves providing leadership in advancing the company's development, conceptualizing and advancing revenue-generating initiatives, and leveraging the company's assets to promote innovation, job creation, and sustainable growth for the region. The Executive Director will also be tasked with overseeing the management and operation of real estate properties, creating and sustaining sponsorship packages, and identifying opportunities for collaboration between the company and businesses. Applicants for the Executive Director position must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in economic development, real estate development, or related areas. Strong knowledge of development partnerships, revenue generation strategies, and proven ability to build strategic partnerships are essential. The role requires excellent analytical, financial, and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and represent the company's interests. A Master's degree and experience in a university setting with a focus on economic development and community engagement are preferred.
