The CCO will be a visible, strategic, and mission-driven leader, responsible for ensuring that the organization remains responsive to its patients' needs and provides equitable, high-quality care. This role is pivotal in developing and leading patient care, engagement, quality, and access strategies, as well as in representing the patient perspective in all organizational decisions and policy development. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for serving underserved communities, a commitment to the organization's mission, and a profound dedication to ethical standards. At least five years of experience in a leadership role within a non-profit, healthcare, or related field is required, with a focus on patient advocacy, quality, patient access, and/or population health. Candidates for the CCO position at the company should be adept at building high-performing, collaborative teams and appreciative of the organization's unique culture and past successes. The role demands a leader who can foster a culture of continuous improvement, is adept at managing patient-related crises, and can design and implement training programs to enhance patient engagement and advocacy skills. The CCO will also be responsible for overseeing patient and community member benefits and programming, as well as creating and enforcing patient-first policies. A Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred, and the successful candidate will be expected to have a deep understanding of current trends in patient care, quality, and access, and to be a champion of innovation and service delivery in a diverse and multi-lingual consumer base.
