The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining key national account relationships, driving growth strategies, and leading a team of account managers to ensure excellence in national account management. This role requires a seasoned sales executive with a proven track record in industrial distribution sales, strategic sales planning, and large team leadership. The VP of Sales will also be tasked with providing overall direction to the sales organization, designing and implementing profitable programs, and optimizing sales process workflows to drive profitable growth. Applicants for the Vice President of Sales - National Accounts position at the company should have deep experience in industrial distribution, with a focus on cross-selling, vertical targeting, strategic planning, and key end-user account penetration. The role demands superior leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict-management skills. The ideal candidate will have a background in a fast-paced, B2B technology sales environment and a history of helping sales teams close large strategic deals. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field is required, with an advanced management degree preferred, and a minimum of 10 years of sales experience, with over half in sales management and leadership roles.
