The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and building the CMC commercial organization, as well as partnering cross-functionally to ensure commercial readiness for the entire cell therapy supply chain. This includes activities related to the manufacturing and distribution of cell therapies across the patient journey. The role involves leading the planning for CMC activities related to commercial launch, onboarding and maintaining clinical sites for commercial supply and managing the procurement of CMC materials for successful commercial manufacturing. The VP will also be involved in strategic decision-making, and budget planning, and will be expected to position the company as a leader in operational delivery of its cell therapy portfolio. Applicants must have a Master's degree in a relevant scientific or engineering field, with a preference for a doctoral degree, and at least 10 years of related technical experience in GMP manufacturing, in-process testing, and product development. A robust understanding of cGMP requirements, ICH/GCP, and experience in the commercial supply of autologous cell therapies is essential. The role requires excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, as well as the ability to inspire and lead a team. The ideal candidate will be result- and solution-oriented, with the ability to deliver departmental and company objectives and to provide strategic insights for the CMC portfolio.
