This critical leadership role involves developing and implementing comprehensive programs across the supply chain, ensuring compliance with local, national, and international regulations, and leading a team dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety. The successful candidate will be a key technical expert and collaborator, with a focus on people, processes, and systems, and will work closely with the manufacturing, procurement, innovation, and impact teams to champion the company's rigorous safety and quality standards. Applicants for the Senior Vice President, Food Safety & Quality Assurance position at the company should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in food science, microbiology, chemistry, or a related field, with a PhD considered a plus. The role requires strong knowledge of HACCP, BRC, SQF, and food safety/quality management programs, as well as deep experience in food quality and safety management, preferably in the meat processing and/or pet food industries.
