The successful candidate will be responsible for the execution of a variety of middle-market transactions, including acquisition, recapitalization, restructuring, leveraged buyout, asset-based lending, and refinancing. This role involves being a key part of a deal team, driving the execution of financing opportunities, and overseeing the full deal process from underwriting to closing. Additionally, the Senior Deal Manager will be involved in account management activities for a portion of the middle-market portfolio, including financial analysis, covenant tracking, and maintaining regular contact with internal teams to ensure a smooth execution process. Applicants for the Senior Deal Manager position at the company should have a BA/BS in finance, economics, or accounting, with at least 15 years of experience in the field. The role requires deep knowledge of leveraged buyout cash flow models, credit analysis experience, and a proven track record of working in a fast-paced, transaction-oriented deal team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work with tight deadlines, and a strong background in underwriting middle-market leveraged finance transactions. A key aspect of the role is the development and recommendation of credit hits, so the candidate should be adept at professional writing, particularly in the preparation of credit memos and relevant documents. The position also involves supervising and developing analysts, so leadership skills are essential.
