The successful candidate will be responsible for orchestrating the company's financial performance, providing strategic financial guidance, and leading value-added financial analysis for business initiatives. This role demands a leader with a strategic mindset, excellent executive presence, and a proven track record in financial planning processes and systems. The VP, FP&A will also be a key partner to the CFO and CEO, driving the company's finance vision and leading global finance initiatives. Applicants for the VP, FP&A position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in a financial planning and analysis role, preferably within a large public software company. The role requires a strong leader with a background in accounting, financial planning processes, and systems, and a proven ability to work across multiple levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will have an innovative and creative mindset, a track record of financial systems and process improvement, and experience in managing large, global teams. An MBA and/or CPA certification is preferred. The role also involves providing critical decision-making support, driving ad hoc analysis, and managing the financial talent within the product and platform organizations.
