The successful candidate will also take on the role of System Leader for OB/GYN, overseeing a large clinical footprint and a significant number of labor and delivery units and outpatient practice locations. This dual role requires a leader who can ensure exceptional care, empower and develop faculty, and advance the Department's residency and fellowship programs. The ideal candidate will be a relationship-based leader, capable of fostering engagement and collaboration across a large, matrixed health system. They should be adept at leading through influence, with a proven track record of building and leading inclusive clinical teams and driving system-wide performance initiatives. Applicants for this position at the company should have at least 5 years' of leadership experience in clinical operations, with a strong background in championing clinical quality, program development, and academic-clinical partnerships. The role demands a leader with a record of scholarship and academic accomplishments, as well as experience in operational and financial management. The candidate must be a practicing academic physician, board-certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology, and eligible for an unrestricted license to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The Chair will be responsible for faculty development, mentoring, and fostering a culture of continuous performance improvement and innovation. The role also involves strategic leadership to ensure the evolution of the OB/GYN service line, with a focus on health equity and the integration of care delivery across the entire health system.
