The successful candidate will be a key business partner and strategist, providing legal advice and support on a wide range of matters, including environmental health and safety, manufacturing operations, real estate, and other site organizations and business units. This role requires a professional with a strong background in EHS or manufacturing-related legal experience, ideally within a corporate setting, and a proven track record in EHS regulatory compliance, particularly in industrial or pharmaceutical industries. The Senior Corporate Counsel will be responsible for advising on complex EHS compliance and enforcement matters, managing site remediation activities, and providing legal support for various real property-related transactions. Applicants must have a U.S. law degree, be admitted to at least one U.S. state bar, and have a minimum of 7 years' of relevant legal experience. The role demands an individual with excellent communication skills, the ability to influence and negotiate, and a strategic, growth-oriented mindset. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a history of collaborative problem-solving, and a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Responsibilities also include advising on regulatory and compliance matters related to manufacturing practices, IACUC and USDA regulations, DEA licensing, and international trade legal counseling.
