The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic oversight, functional expertise, and tactical execution of EHS programs for the global electrical services team. This role involves working with sector leadership to create and implement a strategic plan for EHS performance improvement and leading culture transformation. The VP will also ensure compliance with all relevant EHS regulations and company objectives, and will be the single point of contact for global customers in EHS matters. Essential functions include developing and deploying EHS strategy, managing security and crisis programs, and leading a team to foster a zero-incident culture. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' of experience in a technical field related to EHS, with at least 8 years' in a services business or manufacturing setting. Expert knowledge of EHS requirements and a professional certification are preferred. The role requires a leader who can drive and manage change, communicate effectively, and build organizational capability through EHS training and education programs. The VP will also be responsible for EHS risk assessment, and mitigation, and for establishing and driving the EHS profit plan and budget for the electrical sector. A strong background in EHS management, a proactive approach to safety and environmental stewardship, and the ability to work with diverse teams across multiple regions are essential for this position.
