The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting a range of legal functions, including M&A, securities and equity compensation, and corporate secretarial matters. This role requires a professional with a law degree, a minimum of 6-8 years' of relevant corporate legal experience, and a strong background in M&A, securities, corporate governance, and equity compensation. The Senior Corporate Counsel will be expected to work cross-functionally, identify and analyze legal issues and risks, draft and review key documents, and provide clear recommendations to senior leaders. Experience in both law firm and in-house environments is essential, with a preference for those who have worked in a public company setting. Key responsibilities for the Senior Corporate Counsel may include supporting various corporate transactions, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, advising on corporate governance best practices, and managing the secretarial function. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, and influencing skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
