The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of Net Assets Values, financial statements, and other fund accounting outputs. This role involves close collaboration with the Controller and Director of Accounting to ensure the highest standards in the organization's accounting function. Key responsibilities include the accurate valuation of the fund, management of the general ledger, and oversight of financial reporting. The Fund Controller will also be involved in the completion of annual financial statements, audits, and regulatory reporting, as well as leading tax-related analysis and initiatives for business growth. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in fund accounting and financial reporting, with a strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS. The role requires the ability to work cross-functionally, respond to the needs of various stakeholders, and contribute effectively to management meetings. Advanced communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is a proactive and independent work ethic. A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required, with a preference for candidates holding a CPA certification and having at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
