The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing engineering deliverables, managing internal engineering emergencies, and enhancing productivity through the documentation of best practices and collaboration with cross-functional teams. This strategic role also involves acting as a liaison for key projects and strategic decision-making within the engineering team, ensuring that risks are highlighted early and project timelines are maintained. We are looking for a highly skilled individual with a strategic mindset, extensive experience in senior engineering operations, and a strong analytical background. The Chief of Staff will be expected to have a proven track record in relationship building, the ability to work closely with C-suite executives, and a basic understanding of the Web3 ecosystem and blockchain technology. Experience in a similar stage company, particularly a mid to late-stage startup, is preferable. The role requires a candidate who can decompose ambiguous questions, analyze data, and make recommendations, as well as someone who is adept at fostering collaboration to drive strategic projects. Proficiency in the latest technologies, including EVM vs. Non-EVM, and knowledge of Solidity programming, is a plus.
