The successful candidate will be responsible for leading hematological-oncology and minimal residual disease initiatives, developing and implementing biomarker strategies, and ensuring data-driven clinical translational strategies for target validation. This role involves supporting early and late-stage hematology-oncology projects, managing the research and early development pipeline, and collaborating with the clinical development team to design and execute appropriate studies. The Executive Director will also be tasked with building strong relationships with senior scientific staff, opinion leaders, and patient advocacy groups, and overseeing a large organization of translational scientists and leaders. Applicants must have a PhD, MD, or DVM with a minimum of 10 years' relevant experience, and possess strong scientific methodology, communication, and presentation skills. The role requires the ability to manage multiple research and development programs, facilitate constructive debate, and create an environment that fosters imaginative and constructive dialogue. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing conflict, and be capable of attracting, retaining, and mentoring scientific staff.
