Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) About the Company Prominent mental & behavioral health services provider IndustryMental Health Care TypePrivately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to oversee the delivery of medical care, ensuring quality, clinical performance, and regulatory compliance across its diverse clinical and social support enterprise. The CNO will be instrumental in setting the strategy for medical healthcare delivery and advancing the organization's capabilities to enhance health outcomes. This leadership role involves maintaining and initiating agency systems and standards for nursing and medical practice, formulating and implementing new nursing and medical strategies, and staying abreast of relevant guidance and regulations. The CNO will also be responsible for supervising direct reports, managing nursing budgets, and developing new patient services. Candidates for the CNO position at the company must have an active Registered Nurse license, a degree in healthcare, and at least 10 years of experience in a nursing leadership role. The role requires a strong knowledge of MS Office Suite and electronic medical records systems, as well as the ability to read and analyze various documents. The ideal candidate will be solution-focused, collaborative, and committed to continuous quality improvement, with a sensitivity to issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work with staff at all levels and to serve as an agency spokesperson on nursing and medical matters.
