The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily HR operations, acting as a key point of contact for employees and managers, and ensuring the development and delivery of HR strategies that align with the business. This role requires a generalist approach to HR, with the ability to contribute across the full spectrum of HR responsibilities, and the gravitas to work with the leadership team in a consultative and assertive manner. The VP will also be expected to be commercially aware, anticipate business challenges, and drive performance improvement to influence positive changes in the business environment. Applicants must have a minimum of 12 years' experience in various HR disciplines, with a strong background in talent acquisition, development, and management. The role demands a candidate with excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, organizational, and analytical skills, who is adept at problem-solving and has a thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations, particularly for California. A Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or a related field is required, with a Master's degree or HR certification being preferred.
