Senior Vice President, Cloud Engineering & Resilience About the Company Innovative financial services company IndustryFinancial Services TypePrivately Held About the Role The Company is seeking an SVP, Head of Cloud Engineering and Resilience to take on a pivotal role in the design, build, scaling, and operations of on-premises infrastructure, cloud services, software-defined networking, business continuity, and service resilience. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and leading a multi-year Cloud Service and Resilience Roadmap, with a strong focus on a cloud and automation first principle. This role demands a leader who can work in a hybrid environment and with a Service Partner organization, ensuring that security is integrated by design. The SVP will also be accountable for establishing and maintaining various standards, including configuration, deployment, security, automation, and business continuity. Collaboration with the IT Leadership Team and business leaders is essential to deliver highly available technology services and safeguard the organization's data and information. Applicants for the SVP, Head of Cloud Engineering and Resilience position at the company should have a proven track record in driving standardization, automation, and resilience by design. The role requires a leader with a mix of pragmatism, creativity, solid management skills, and technical depth, particularly in the areas of automation experience (Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, MS Power Platform), and domain technical knowledge in DevSecOps, PaaS, SASE, and SD-WAN. Team leadership skills, including mentoring and building, are also a key requirement.
