The successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight of a diverse range of real estate assets, including mixed-use, multifamily, industrial, alternative, and office properties. This role involves working closely with development partners and consultants to ensure the successful delivery of projects, from master planning to construction and beyond. The Vice President will be expected to have a deep understanding of development and construction processes, proactively manage project execution, and maintain a critical mindset to optimize value throughout the project lifecycle. Additionally, the role includes managing capital projects within the company's portfolio and providing support during the due diligence process. Applicants for the Vice President position should have 7-10 years of experience in the development and management of large-scale real estate projects, with a focus on multifamily, industrial, and office assets. A completed university degree in a relevant field is required, with a graduate degree being a plus. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in municipal planning and entitlement approvals, as well as experience in managing joint venture development partners. Proficiency in quantitative and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment are essential. The role also requires a proactive approach to risk management, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to the values of environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
