The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a dynamic people and culture strategy that aligns with the organization's mission and values. This includes leading a team that drives talent acquisition, learning and development, employee engagement, and HR operations. The role involves designing and implementing programs to engage and retain employees, supporting the organization's commitment to diversity and equity, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and University policies. The Executive Director will also be involved in crafting effective communications, developing recruitment and hiring procedures, and administering the compensation program. Applicants must have a college or university degree in a related field, with a preference for a Bachelor's or advanced degree, and at least 7 years' of work experience in a related job discipline. The ideal candidate will have a background in nonprofit management, fundraising, or higher education, and a strong understanding of philanthropy and fundraising programs. Key skills include organizational development, human resources operations, and the ability to manage confidential information with integrity. The role requires strong leadership, decision-making, and time management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team setting. Experience in project management, budget development, and staff management is also highly valued.
