The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and championing a long-term facilities master plan that aligns with the organization's strategic goals, providing thought leadership in healthcare facilities management, and leading major capital initiatives. This role requires a visionary leader with a business degree in a relevant field, an MBA is preferred, and a minimum of 7 years' progressive leadership experience in facilities management, with at least 5 years in a VP role overseeing multi-site operations. Expertise in managing large-scale capital projects and operational budgets is essential, and experience in healthcare facilities management is strongly preferred. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Facilities at the company include overseeing the development and execution of policies and procedures for the operations of its facilities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading sustainability and environmental stewardship initiatives. The role also involves team leadership and development, as well as enhancing collaboration with clinical teams to tailor facilities and equipment solutions to meet their needs. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, be a strategic thinker, and have a results-oriented approach to problem-solving and decision-making. Certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Facilities Management Professional (FMP) are preferred.
