The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all individuals associated with the organization, including staff, volunteers, and community partners, are treated with respect and dignity, with a focus on racial equity and social justice. This role involves full-cycle hiring, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding, as well as providing HR guidance to the executive team and Board of Directors. The VP will also be involved in conflict resolution, performance management, and the development of a competitive compensation strategy. Applicants must have a BS/BA in a related field, with HR certifications preferred, and 5-7 years of HR experience, including 2-4 years in a management role. The role requires a leader with the ability to empower and maintain strong boundaries, as well as strong project management, technological, public speaking, and writing skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of strategic leadership, be adept at managing multiple projects, and have a strong commitment to the values of the organization.
