The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and executing regional and global audits across various business units, including investment and asset management, risk management, operations, finance, and compliance. This role involves all aspects of the audit process, from risk assessment to reporting, and requires the ability to engage with senior leaders, identify and assess risks, and contribute to the strategic initiatives of the audit group. The Vice President will also be involved in the formation of the annual audit plan, participate in global audit projects, and provide advisory services during the development of new businesses and systems. Candidates for this role should have a strong background in the asset management industry, with at least 8-10 years' of relevant audit experience. A degree in finance, economics, accounting, or business management is preferred, and professional certifications such as CIA, CFA, or CPA are a plus. The role demands a professional with a deep understanding of financial services, particularly in the areas of investment management products, corporate and risk management business processes, and risk and control systems. Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
