The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic leadership and optimization of LTL operations, managing significant spending. This role demands a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in LTL transportation, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity. The VP will be tasked with developing and executing LTL strategies to enhance service performance, reduce costs, and foster strong carrier partnerships. Key responsibilities include carrier relationship management, operational optimization, cost management, data analysis, team development, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration. Applicants for the Vice President of LTL Services position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field. The role requires a deep understanding of LTL dynamics, carrier management, cost analysis, and service optimization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large-scale LTL spend, strong negotiation and communication skills, and proficiency in transportation management systems.
