The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the organization's fundraising portfolio, including local board and executive volunteer leadership, corporate partnerships, peer-to-peer and individual giving, donor stewardship, and finance and budget management. This role requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in non-profit management, particularly in the areas of fundraising and leadership. The Executive Director will also be tasked with positioning the organization as a leader in diabetes prevention and management within the community, establishing effective partnerships, and leading a team to achieve aggressive revenue growth. Applicants for the Executive Director position should have a Bachelor's degree and 8-10 years' experience in non-profit management, with a strong background in fundraising. The role demands an outcome-driven individual with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of managing and motivating teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong market, community, and constituent perspective, and be proficient in computer-based information systems. Responsibilities include leading volunteer recruitment and engagement, creating a shared vision with staff and volunteers, and ensuring the organization is aligned with strategic direction.
