This pivotal role involves partnering with the Chief Executive Officer and the leadership team to devise a robust fundraising strategy, elevate the department to a world-class standard, and manage development initiatives that will sustain the growth of the organization's programs. The successful candidate will be a key representative, engaging with individuals, corporations, foundations, and other charitable entities to secure contributions. Additionally, the Chief Development Officer will work closely with the national and regional boards to leverage their philanthropic networks, attract new donors, and nurture existing relationships. A strong focus will be on creating a culture of philanthropy within the community, including staff, boards, alumni, and a large network of volunteer college student leaders.
