The successful candidate will be part of the Markets Control Testing Utility, with a primary focus on assessing the adequacy of controls, monitoring, and testing tools designed and executed by the Markets business teams. This is an execution-oriented role that involves operational controls performance assessment, assurance for Markets controls, and the execution of control assessment processes. The role also requires the development of control monitoring and testing tools, driving continuous improvements, and supporting the adoption of new standards and procedures. The candidate will be responsible for their own book of work, supporting the training of assessment officers, and maintaining relationships with stakeholders to ensure the success of control assessment and testing. Applicants should have at least 8 years' of relevant experience, with advanced knowledge in controls design, execution, and/or control testing. Experience in Markets products and distribution channels is essential. The role demands an excellent understanding of risk and control frameworks, advanced skills in MS Office, and strong communication and relationship management skills. The candidate must be an independent thinker, capable of performing a credible challenge, and able to work effectively on virtual teams. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree being preferred. The role also requires the ability to influence others, foster collaboration, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
