The successful candidate will be responsible for representing the school in all interactions, both internal and external, and for fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment. This role involves managing the school's general operating budgets, overseeing departmental accounts, and working closely with the Business Office to ensure fiscal responsibility. The Managing Director will also support student recruitment, coordinate the Fine Arts season schedule, and handle contracts in collaboration with the Director of Contracts and Procurement. Additionally, the position includes supervising professional staff, managing ticketing and event operations, and overseeing facility maintenance for the Fine Arts Center. Applicants for the Managing Director position should have a Master of Arts Management, Master of Fine Arts, or a similar degree, and at least three years of professional experience in a leadership role within an arts organization or college/university. Strong skills in budget management, event scheduling, and stakeholder collaboration are essential.
