The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of legal and business affairs matters, including the development and assessment of various contracts, setting up new entities, and drafting operating agreements. The role also involves advising on legal rights, deal structures, and other legal obligations, as well as managing the contract process and ensuring the firm's compliance with best practices and business goals. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, possess strong initiative, and have the ability to communicate effectively. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree, a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school, and be admitted to the California Bar or Tennessee Bar. A minimum of 8 years of experience in legal and business affairs is required, with a preference for candidates with a background in family office or corporate entertainment. The role demands a professional with excellent project management, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to lead a team and manage a high workload efficiently. Experience in human resources or employment law is also a necessary qualification for this position. The General Business Affairs, General Counsel will be an integral part of the Executive Leadership team, working closely with the CEO and staff to ensure the firm's performance and key business metrics are met.
