The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the implementation of technological and analytical advances in the computational biology field to support the industrialization of drug discovery. This role involves mentoring teams, collaborating with research-oriented teams, and leading efforts to identify optimal disease and patient linkages for precision medicine. The VP will also be a key member in contributing to the strategy for the collection of patient genetic and biomarker data in clinical trials and will guide the industrialization process of turning biological maps into medicines. Candidates for this role should have a minimum of 7 years' experience in computational biology, with a focus on advancing drug discovery and development programs, particularly in the field of oncology. The role requires a proven track record in managing multiple project teams, developing and implementing precision medicine solutions, and strong leadership skills in a multi-level management environment. The ideal candidate will be adept at pairing large-scale patient datasets with high-throughput functional genomics and will have a deep understanding of regulatory considerations in clinical development.
