The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the adequacy of controls, monitoring, and testing tools within the banking and international segment business teams. This execution-oriented role involves operational controls performance assessment, assurance for banking controls, and the execution of control assessment processes. The officer will be part of a team of approximately 6 professionals, accountable for control testing results, and will be expected to provide advice on control design and remediation. Strong communication, diplomacy, and the ability to engage with senior managers are essential, as is the requirement to stay abreast of the latest trends in control design and assurance. Applicants should have advanced knowledge and experience in control design, execution, or testing, with a specific focus on banking products and distribution channels. A deep understanding of MCA or equivalent risk and control frameworks is necessary. The role demands advanced skills in MS Office and the ability to influence and foster collaboration. The officer will be expected to work independently, manage their own workload, and support the training of assessment officers. The position requires an independent thinker who can perform a credible challenge and is capable of working effectively on virtual teams. A university degree is preferred, and the candidate should be prepared for a travel requirement of less than 10%.
