The successful candidate will have full P&L responsibility, oversee multiple programs with a significant annual budget, and ensure compliance with internal and external Service Level Agreements. This role requires a strategic leader who can define and implement operational and financial goals, as well as lead transformation and change management initiatives. The VP of Operations will be the key liaison to subcontracts and vendors and will be expected to have a strong background in process improvement, risk management, and the development of relevant metrics for operations teams. Applicants for the Vice President of Operations position at the company should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree with over 20 years of relevant experience, including at least 15 years in operations leadership at large, complex organizations. The role demands a candidate with a proven track record in contract negotiation, business development, and relationship management, particularly within the public sector. Expertise in operations and implementation processes, financial and accounting concepts, and knowledge of industry trends and competition is essential. The ideal candidate will have a background in healthcare implementations and operations, with a focus on public sector healthcare programs. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are required, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
