What you'll be doing In conjunction with the multidisciplinary team, the Program Nurse LPN, the Residential Supervisor and the residents' physicians, oversee the medical treatment and health status of HNNR A.F.C. residents. Monitor and evaluate residents' medications. Work with the program case manager to obtain prescriptions for medications, treatments, special diets and needed equipment. Monitor medication administration record sheets and prescription labels as obtained from the pharmacy. Participate in the development of and implement treatment plans, within area of expertise, with residents. Participate in team meetings as assigned. Provide observational data for evaluation, treatment and planning purposes. Communicate with the Manager of Residential Services and/or Program Director and the Residential Supervisor regarding resident and program issues. Be familiar with applicable Hope Network, Neuro Rehabilitation Department, A.F.C. and C.A.R.F. standards. Report inconsistencies, suggest and assist with corrective action. Track time spent providing services directly to consumers. Bill for nursing services, as indicated. Provide leadership, support, and direction to staff to facilitate teamwork, problem solving, and program development. Model and promote positive morale. Write training curriculum, teach training modules and conduct skills assessments with program Rehab. Techs as assigned for primary location. Anticipated Work Schedule 32+ hours per week Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm (with some flexibility) Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in nursing or as required for licensure as a registered nurse; licensed to practice in State of Michigan.
