We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsWhat you will do:The Lead Surgical Technologist delivers high quality, patient-centered care by performing various functions to support the efficient operation of the surgical suiteUnder the supervision of the Circulating RN the Lead Surgical Technologist prepares the surgical suite, positions and prepares the patient, and provides instruments, equipment, and supplies to the surgical team during the procedureThe Lead Surgical Technologist ensures a sterile field, proper instrument counts, and proper operation of instruments and equipmentParticipates in patient specific care as directed and follows service excellence standards to promote optimum patient satisfaction. Assists with ongoing training and/or precepting of new and current employees as directed by the supervisor. Ensuring new processes, equipment and other changes are communicated and/or taught to other Surgical Technologists. What qualifications you will need:Completion of an approved surgical tech program1+ year of experience preferredCertified Surgical Tech (CST) requiredBasic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start dateOur hospital has been proudly serving the West Marion County community since 2002, providing top-notch healthcare services to meet the growing needs of our patients.
