Our citrus can be found in all channels of distribution, with our consumer brands most visible in the produce department of grocery stores across America under the flagship consumer brands of Wonderful Halos mandarins and Wonderful Sweet Scarletts Texas Red grapefruit.Job DescriptionOverview:Individual will perform preventative/predictive maintenance, repairs and improvements on industrial equipment in an automated food processing facility while keeping a high regard for employee safety, food quality and machine efficiencyHere's what you'll do:Ensures self and coworkers are compliant with all safety rules and regulations (LOTO, fall protection, hot work, etc.)Perform uptime and downtime inspections, lubrications, and preventative maintenanceUtilize predictive technologies such as thermal imaging, vibration analysis, and ultrasonics to gain an understanding of machine condition and estimated lifespanTroubleshoot and perform corrective work on all mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems within the facilityIdentify and execute improvements on equipment, documentation, work systems, and processesCollaborates with different levels of employees in various departments of the facility through face-to-face, telephone, email and radio communicationsProvide training and development to operators and other maintenance personnelResearch system and component specifications using equipment manuals, schematics, parts breakdowns, online information, and vendor communicationDismantle and reassemble complex pieces of machinery in an efficient, precise and reliable mannerOperates cutting, welding, and various other fabrication equipment to cut, form, and/or join materialsCreates/modifies work orders in Computerized Maintenance Management System, and documents details of work performedSubmits parts requestsEscalate technical, procedural, and personnel related issues to direct lead or supervisor as necessaryWork with moral integrity on a consistent basisPerforms other assigned duties and projectsOther duties as assignedQualificationsHere's what you'll bring to the table:High School diploma or GED equivalent required; Technical degree and three years or more of related experience and/or training in a production/manufacturing environment is preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)Individual must be able to read, analyze, interpret, and present out general business items to groups of coworkers, managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Effective English communication is a must, bilingual is preferred. Employee must possess ability to work with basic mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations is preferred. To successfully support the business needs, the employee will be expected to work overtime, weekends and rotating/varying shifts, as well as be available for emergency call-out as needed. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Frequently required to sit or stand and remain in a stationary position for 50% of the timeMust be able to move about inside and outside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, production machinery and farming machineryMust be able to operates a computer for long periods of time and other productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer/label printer. Must be able to frequently ascend/descend stairs/ladderMust be able to position self to maintain equipment in production environment, including under and above the equipment. Must be able to frequently move items weighing up to 25 pounds as needed. Must have the ability to wear a company approved face mask for part and or all of your shift The face mask must cover the nose and mouth when being worn.
