Ask us about these Core Values to find out if this will be the place you are looking for.The Goals And Challenges Of This RoleWelder Certification management for the Welding TeamCode compliance (NAVSEA)Filler material and consumable managementLevel 1 welding consumable managementCreating effective Weld Repair travelersWhat You Should Bring To This RoleAWS and/or ASME fabrication code work experience / NAVSEA ExperienceMinimum 3 years' experience in the fabrication and welding of carbon, stainless, and/or high alloy steelsAbility to communicate issues and solve problems that require a high degree of Welding Engineering knowledgeAble to work well and communicate with other team membersCapacity to simultaneously balance multiple projects, requirements, and deadlinesDeep understanding of blueprints, welding joint designs, and NDE/NDTProven ability to develop the skills and certifications of othersProficiency with MS Office tools and basic computer skills for email, web-based communications, and filesharing
