This role will need to be onsite in Cumming, GA and as needed will require "on call support" which could include occasional weekend support. Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled eMobility NOC Specialist to join our Network Operations Center (NOC) team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of eMobility technologies and OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol), and will be responsible for providing remote expert-level support and troubleshooting for our clients. Key Responsibilities: Expert Support: Provide advanced technical support for the installation, configuration, and maintenace of EV charging stations. OCPP Management: Manage and troubleshoot OCPP-related issues, ensuring compliance with industry standards and protocols. Network Performance: Monitor and analyze network performance to identify and resolve issues promptly. Remote Troubleshooting: Perform technical remote troubleshooting for Level 2 (AC) and Level 3 (DC) chargers. Customer Support: Handle escalated customer inquiries and provide clear, effective communication regarding technical issues and solutions. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, technical procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, engineers, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery. Training: Provide training and support to internal teams and external partners on eMobility and OCPP related topics. Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices in network operations. On-Call Support: Provide on-call support as needed to address urgent technical issues and ensure continuous operation of EV charging infrastructure. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in network and or technical operations or a similar role, with a focus on technical support and eMobility technology. Technical Skills: Proficiency in technical configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Strong understanding of Open Charge Alliance protocols. Experience with EV charging infrastructure and related software. Expertise in remote troubleshooting for Level 2 (AC) and Level 3 (DC) chargers. Ability to write clear and concise technical deliverables for operations and service personnel. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently as part of a team Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud-based EV management solutions. Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices in network environments.
